"Crash Into Me" by Dave Matthews Band is a song that I have been attached to since I heard in 6th grade. It is a song that talks about love, and this kid is just head over heals with this girl. It creates such a clear picture in my head. I can vision the lyrics so well and for some reason in this song. This song is the type of song that when you need to hear a song about love, you go to. "Dream Girl" is so similar. This poem is about the goddess-like creature that is above any normal woman. And then at the end of the poem Sandburg talks about how maybe she is just a dream girl, and will never come. It is the same thing in "Crash Into Me," this boy is almost obsessed, but he will probably never be able to get this dream girl. I think both of these pieces are very well connected because the stories are so similar.
